FROM THERE TO HERE THE CITY BECAME FAMILIAR

FROM THERE TO HERE
THE CITY BECAME FAMILIAR
We were always afraid of becoming used to a new place, but usually we did, and we did well.

Year_2000
I just came back from Portsmouth,
a city in southern England.
I bought my first Oasis album and
also their first album.
Her name was Jane.
She said she went to a city in
northern England during the winter.
She said the city is very cold and snowy.
Jane said there is a famous Festival there every
summer and she will be study there in the future.
I have no idea where and
what this city she said is.

Year_2008
Jie is my classmate.
She said, “Let’s go to Edinburgh.
All the buildings there are castles.
We can have parties in castles every night.
It’s cool! Right?”

Year_2011
I am in this city that before I felt was strange.
I bought Oasis’ last album.
I know about the Edinburgh Festival now.
I live in a snowy city.
I know Jie is a liar.
There are not only castles here and I am not
allowed to party in the castle.
